Berkeley

Our Berkeley chapter is a fluid form of action meeting art. Boasting a balanced blend of artists and audience, Berkeley Rambler has hosted 20+ shows, galleries, theater productions, and performances, in addition to casual meetings of creations. Planted in 2021 as a small passion project of Maya Kaufmann to bring local community creatives together in response to the demands from the competitive campus of UC Berkeley, she writes the following excerpt from “Homie Love” to share what it has blossomed into.

We are an interconnected network of musicians, poets, performance artists, painters, and photographers, to name just a few strains of artists in our swirl. We strive to create a collective container to explore and experience, pushing the boundaries of creative expression, nurturing a safe haven to feel what is real to you. And move with creation grounded in that authenticity. Through music and dance, we stretch eternity into the mold of each moment.
